Scheduled jobs, batches, runtime gates, and automation toggles
3PL Runtime
3PL runtime schedules poll sales orders, purchase orders, inventory, catalog sync, health, and provider runtime work. ThreePLRuntimeScheduleService gates operating days, runtime windows, and bucket timing.
After aborting runtime schedules for deploys, reinstall and verify the jobs return to WAITING.
Payment Operations
Payment schedulers include recurring payments, automated collections, account updater, settlement sync, and gateway health monitoring. Payment_Operations_Settings__c toggles determine whether live automation should run.
Do not assume a scheduled job means customer-facing automation is enabled. Check settings and cron state together.
Finance and Inventory
Finance and inventory automation includes GL backfill/provisioning, item GL default resolution, inventory snapshots, warehouse fulfillment snapshots, payment term recalculation, item rule expiry, and retention cleanup.
CRM and Sales
Automation includes quote-to-Opportunity linking, Sales Order-to-Opportunity linking, account/order metrics, quote approval history, duplicate snapshots, activity reporting, and sales performance snapshots.
Retention
Retention should be allowlisted and evidence-aware. Runtime logs and snapshots may be purged after approved windows; financial, payment, inventory transaction, tracking, audit, and receipt evidence must be retained unless a separate policy says otherwise.
